Flowers Are Red is a wonderful song by one of my favorite singer/songwriters, Harry Chapin. The song tells the story of a young student's experience with a, shall we say, no-so-great teacher and then, a really great one!
I share this story because it's one of the songs I will sing during my time with the retired teacher's sorority! A gift of having 40 some years of performing and 10 albums under my belt are song and stories that love and lift those whom I am invited to share with! This is a private event.
